Eli was my manager at Logtel as well as some time at NCC (my first jobs in the high-tech industry). Eli was my first technological mentor, the one from which I learned how to become an effective individual contributor in the high-tech industry; he was an extremely good reference for communication and management standards and de-facto standards not only for me but also for Logtel’s and NCC’s customers. Both, at Logtel and NCC, Eli was involved in the process (according to ISO standards) of product development (product spec through design and design to product QA and on-site deployment in customer’s site). As Eli was a very effective source of technological knowledge he was much involved in projects presale both at NCC and Logtel. Although I no longer work with Eli in the same company I keep consulting with him in his areas of expertise.
